Francisco Laza Escaurido Chapelle
Francisco Escaurido has been a coach for the Cuban national team in the 2004 Olympics, 2008 Olympics and 2009 World Baseball Classic. He never played in Cuba's domestic league. He managed the Mineros to a 48-17 record in 1969-1970, Oriente to 32-32 in 1973-1974 and the Serranos to 18-21 in 1974-1975. He managed Santiago de Cuba in their debut, 1977-1978.
