Biographical Information[edit]

Everton Shimizu was a teenager when he was the starting shortstop for the Brazilian national team in the 2008 Americas Baseball Cup. He hit .150/.150/.200 with one run and one RBI in eight games, fielding .903. His 19 assists tied Jaime Jaen and Mayron Wijman for 7th in the Cup. He also was on the Brazilian squads that won the Bronze Medal in the 2011 South American Championship and a Silver in the 2013 South American Championship.
