Biographical Information[edit]
Emil Haberer came up with the Cincinnati Reds in 1901 as an infielder but came back in 1903 and 1909 as a catcher. Born in Cincinnati, OH, all of his appearances were with the Reds.
He may have played for Memphis in 1902: The Sporting Life from that year twice mentions him as being set to play for Memphis but once states that Haberer denied that he was going to play for the team.
The Sporting Life of May 30, 1908 mentions him as playing for Frank Beble's Shamrocks, along with Noodles Hahn and former minor leaguer Louis Knau.
