Biographical Information

Pitcher Doug Robertson was drafted in the 3rd round of the 1985 amateur draft by the San Francisco Giants.

In 1988, pitching for the San Jose Giants, Robertson led the California League with 23 saves. Along with his 1.26 ERA, it earned him co-Pitcher of the Year in the Cal League along with Colin Charland. After saving 25 more games for the Shreveport Captains in 1989, Robertson was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 1989 Rule V Draft. He never made the majors.
