Biographical Information

Catcher Dottie Green played four seasons for the Rockford Peaches of the All American Girls Professional Baseball League and was one of the circuit's tallest players. After injuring her knee and ending her playing career, she was a chaperone for the club. After her baseball career was over, she was a prison guard. Late in her life, Green became a Boston Red Sox fan.
