Biographical Information[edit]
Outfielder Donald Harris played football at Texas Tech University and baseball at McLennan Community College. He was signed as a 1st round pick, the 5th overall, in the 1989 amateur draft by the Texas Rangers and scout Doug Gassaway. He was also drafted by the Dallas Cowboys as a safety, but chose baseball over football.
