Biographical Information[edit]

Dave Morrow played at Utah Technical College in 1981, then went on a mission for his church. He returned to play at BYU from 1984-1986.

Morrow played in the Montreal Expos minor league system from 1986 to 1987. He was drafted by the club in the 18th round of the 1986 amateur draft, a couple of picks after third baseman Ed Whited, ahead of outfielder Turner Ward and in the same round as outfielder Tim Salmon and second baseman Chuck Knoblauch.

In his first professional year, Morrow hit .240/.296/.328 with 2 home runs and 15 RBI in 47 games for the Jamestown Expos. In his last year, he hit .218/.292/.299 with no home runs and 21 RBI in 94 games for the Burlington Expos. Overall, he hit .224/.293/.308 in 141 games.

He died on July 15, 2008 at the age of 46.
