Dave McManus

Dave McManus has served as a referre for hockey and basketball and an umpire for baseball and softball.

McManus was an umpire in the 1975 Intercontinental Cup, 1982 Amateur World Series and 1984 Olympics as well as 8 other international tournaments. He was Supervisor of Umpires in Canada from 1989-1995. He was going to be a replacement umpire in 1995 when the MLB umpires went on strike and was ready to serve in the Toronto Blue Jays home opener but labor laws prevented the replacement umps from serving.

McManus was honored by Baseball Canada for his body of work in 2009.
