Culvert Newell
Culvert Newell was an outfielder on the Nicaraguan national team that won Silver in the 1935 Central American and Caribbean Games and Bronze in the 1938 Central American and Caribbean Games. He led the 1939 Amateur World Series with four steals as Nicaragua won the Silver. He appeared for Nicaragua in the 1945 Amateur World Series.
