Clorinda Plays Baseball

Clorinda Plays Baseball is a rhyming picture book by Robert Kinerk, with illustrations by Steven Kellogg. In the story, a cow named Clorinda forms a baseball team and field on her farm. One of her students, a shy boy named Deke, becomes a star, drawing the interest of the Bosstown Red Hats, Clorinda's favorite team. Clorinda is saddened that she isn't the one signed, but she still has a role to play to help Deke and the Red Hats.
