Biographical Information[edit]
Carl "Sox" Husta appeared in six games for the 1925 Athletics but was much more famous as an early professional basketball player.
He backed up Chick Galloway at shortstop on a team that won 88 games.
He also played in the Piedmont League.
As a basketball player, he was with Kingston in 1923 and with the Cleveland Rosenblums in 1926-29 and perhaps longer. He also played with the Celtics.
Mickey Husta, presumably a brother, was also on the Kingston team.
