Biographical Information[edit]
Catcher Calvin Fisk was picked by the Baltimore Orioles in the 48th round of the 1965 amateur draft, one round before they took Greg Riddoch. He did not play in the pro ranks but his brother Carlton Fisk wound up in the Hall of Fame. As a freshman, Fisk hit .424 for the University of New Hampshire [1]. He was elected captain as a senior in 1966 [2]. He played for Harwich in the Cape Cod League in 1967 [3].
Fisk was named All-Yankee Conference Honorable mention in soccer as a halfback in 1965 [4]. He was named All-Conference in 1966 [5].
