Biographical Information[edit]
Bill McWilliams played two games in the majors with the Boston Red Sox in July of 1931. He had been at the University of Iowa in 1931, along with Joe Mowry.
The only other major leaguer (through 2008) with the last name McWilliams is Larry McWilliams.
Although Bill never again came to the majors after 1931, he played in the minors through 1941, several times hitting over .300 and managing for a while in 1941.
