Biographical Information

Infielder John Farrell played two games for the Baltimore Orioles in 1883 in the American Association. He was originally listed in encyclopedias as Bill Farrell and was confused with Jack Farrell, who played a couple of games for the Philadelphia Athletics, also in the American Association, in 1882.

Little else is known about him. He was only mentioned in the Baltimore papers as being "Farrell from Philadelphia".
