Biographical Information[edit]
Angel Campos began his umpiring career in the minors in 2000. He worked in the Arizona League, Northwest League, Midwest League, California League and Texas League. By 2004, he was working the Pacific Coast League. Campos was an umpire in the 2006 World Baseball Classic and 2013 World Baseball Classic Qualifiers.
He umpired his first major league game in 2007 and worked there every year until 2012, always as a replacement for regular umpires. After not being in the majors in 2013, he returned for 36 games in 2014.
