Biographical Information[edit]

Pitcher Andy Ferguson began his professional career in 2011 after being taken by the Kansas City Royals in the 18th round of the 2011 amateur draft. The scout was Blake Davis. He reached Triple A for the first time in 2014.

In just his second campaign, he went 6-3 with a 2.42 ERA in 16 starts between the Idaho Falls Chukars, Kane County Cougars and Wilmington Blue Rocks. In 2014, he went a combined 12-11 with a 3.16 ERA in 27 games (25 starts) between the Northwest Arkansas Naturals and Triple A Omaha Storm Chasers. In 2015, he was 11-3 with a 2.49 mark between Northwest Arkansas and Omaha and in 2016, despite going 0-4, he posted a 2.87 ERA in 9 starts between the AZL Royals, Wilmington Blue Rocks and Northwest Arkansas.

He was a Post-Season All-Star in 2014.

A brother-in-law, Bennett Cromer, played in the minors in 2005.
