Biographical Information[edit]

Aaron Laffey was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 16th round of the 2003 amateur draft. He was signed by scout Bob Mayer for a $363,000 bonus, bypassing a scholarship to Virginia Tech.

His career ended on an ignominious note -- on June 6, 2018, while pitching for the Triple A Las Vegas 51s, the hurler surrendered 14 runs in three innings to prompt his retirement.
