1989 International League season

The 1989 International League season was the 104th in the league's history, and ended with the Richmond Braves winning their second Governors' Cup in four seasons. The Braves would lose the Triple-A Classic to the AA's Indianapolis Indians.

This was the first season for the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Red Barons.
