1983 Triple-A World Series
The first Triple-A World Series was a double round-robin tournament played in 1983 between the champions of the American Association, International League and Pacific Coast League. The tournament ran from September 15 to September 19, with all games being played at Cardinal Stadium in Louisville, KY. Attendance for the six games was 26,914.
The three participating teams were:
- The Denver Bears (AA champions);
- The Tidewater Tides (IL champions);
- The Portland Beavers (PCL champions).
